Due to the special design of our pneumatic measuring technology, we can offer you a measuring device with higher stability and accuracy here.
Camshaft bearing housing measuring device with fixed measuring mandrels for maximum stability, or with movable measuring mandrels for the greatest possible distance can be used to the component. Due to the large measuring range of the individual mandrels, a large undersize of the measuring body can be achieved and the components can be fed more easily. At the same time, optimal accuracy is achieved by means of linearisation.
In the version with clamping systems of the processing machines, correction interfaces to the processing machine and interface to the customer’s handling system, our measuring automations round off your production.
Camshaft bearing housing – measurement automation This measuring automation is designed for the fast measuring of camshaft bearing housings. By using the same clamping system of the processing machine, which is coordinated with the clamping of the end product, the camshaft bearing housings are placed on the pre-storage of the measuring device by the customer’s robot. After the robot control is released, the measuring sequence is activated and the measuring cycle runs automatically. The camshaft bearing housing is lowered and clamped via the hydraulic clamping system. Measuring air is switched on and the measuring units are fed into the measuring position. Static measurement takes place and after evaluation the measurement results are displayed on the screen and sent to the interface for further processing. The units move into rest position and the camshaft bearing housing is lifted again and can be removed.
Calibration is carried out automatically via setting master MIN by means of supply and removal via customer robots from cooling water-tempered trays.
Camshaft bearing housing measuring automation This measuring automation is designed for the clocked measuring of camshaft bearing housings closed on one side. By using the same clamping system of the processing machine with clamping plates, the camshaft bearing housings with clamping plates are brought to the measuring device via the customer robot and held. After the robot control is released, the clamping plate is clamped via the hydraulic clamping system. The measuring sequence is activated and the measuring cycle runs automatically. Measuring air is switched on and the measuring unit with two measuring mandrels moves into the first measuring position and the other measuring equipment (inductive probes) is fed in. The first static measurement is carried out and the intermediate result is stored, this is repeated on the other camshaft bores. After the last measurement, the final evaluation is carried out. The measurement results are displayed on the screen and sent to the interface for further processing. The units move into rest position and the camshaft bearing housing can be removed.
Calibration is carried out automatically via setting master MIN by feeding via customer robots from a master tray.
