Steering box measurements

Due to the special design of our pneumatic measuring technology in combination with the electronic measuring technology, we can offer you a measuring device with higher stability and accuracy here.

Steering box measuring device / measuring stations with permanently installed measuring spikes for maximum stability. Due to the large measuring range of the individual nozzles, a large undersize of the measuring body can be achieved. This means that larger tolerances from shape and position can also be taken into account and the components can be fed even more easily. By means of linearisation, small tolerances in the bores can be measured with optimal accuracy at the same time. The combination with electronic measuring technology rounds off the measurement here.

The base is designed so that similar groups of components can be measured here by safely and easily converting / rearranging the individual measuring units.

Steering box measuring device / measuring station pneumatic-electronic measuring technology

Measuring station for steering box variants (different heights) with a combination of pneumatic and electronic measuring technology. The operator can quickly adjust the measuring station to the different heights of the steering housings by adjusting the end stop.

The component is placed on the pre-support, and the measuring process is started automatically when it leaves the light curtain. The measuring air is switched on, the steering box is lowered, the upper measuring unit and the measuring probe are closed. The static measurement is carried out. After evaluation, the measurement results are displayed on the screen and stored on the computer. The measuring units are reset, measuring air is shut off and the steering housing is raised to the removal position.

Calibration is done manually via Setting Master MIN. The calibration time can be freely set in the software, after the request the Einstellmeister is placed on the pre-storage, the measuring unit recognises the Einstellmeister and the calibration cycle is carried out automatically. After removal, measurement can be continued.

Steering box measuring device / measuring station – pneumatic-electronic measuring technology with Go/NoGo gauge

Measuring station for steering box variants (different heights) with a combination of pneumatic and electronic measuring technology. The operator can quickly adjust the measuring station to the different heights of the steering housings by adjusting the end stop.

The component is placed on the pre-storage, after leaving the light curtain the measuring process is started automatically. The measuring air is switched on, the steering box is lowered, the upper measuring unit and the measuring probe are inserted. The static measurement is carried out and after evaluation the intermediate results are displayed on the screen. The measuring units are reset, measuring air is shut off and the steering housing is raised to the removal position. The component is removed and the manual measurements with the manual plug gauge and Go/NoGo gauge are carried out and accepted/confirmed on the computer. After the final evaluation, the measurement and test confirmation are saved on the computer.

Calibration is carried out manually via Setting Master MIN. The calibration time can be freely set in the software, after the request, the Setting Master is placed on the pre-storage and the measuring device recognises the Setting Master and the calibration cycle is automatically carried out. After removal, measurement can be continued.
