The new 3D coordinate measuring machine ZEISS PRISMO ultra goes into operation. It is one of the most accurate 3D coordinate measuring machines in the province of North Brabant.
With a length measurement error of only 0.5+L/500 µm, the ZEISS PRISMO ultra is in a precision class of its own. This precision is achieved through more accurate scales, a modified air bearing connection, additional CAA corrections, air damping and more stringent tuning of all machine parts. ZEISS PRISMO ultra is therefore ideal for tasks where the highest precision is required, such as in research, development and quality assurance, as well as for calibrating gauges and test specimens.
