On 2 January 1992, the company was founded by Mr J.C. Van Dongen in Asten.

Van Dongen Engineering is a Dutch company that develops and builds measuring machines and fixtures for series production in the automotive and automotive supply industry for the manufacture of machined parts.

Due to our flexibility and innovative technologies, we are a competent partner as a system supplier for many engine and transmission manufacturers such as GM, Audi, BMW, Daimler, ZF, Volkswagen and many more.
